À partir du 25 janvier, 21 h, Global TV diffusera une série en six épisodes intitulée « Mary Kills People ». Achetée aux États-Unis par la chaîne Lifetime, cette série est centrée sur le personnage fictif du Dr Mary Harris. Selon Global TV, Mme Harris est un médecin urgentiste qui, parallèlement à sa pratique, agit en marge de la légalité comme « ange de la mort » pour aider les patients en phase terminale à mettre fin &agr
New Global Series Makes Hero of Euthanasia Doctor
Global TV will present a six-episode series called “Mary Kills People” beginning January 25 at 9 p.m. The series, which was picked up by Lifetime in the United States, revolves around the fictional Dr. Mary Harris. According to Global TV, Harris is “an ER doctor who maintains a sideline within the hospital as an ‘angel of death,’ working outside the boundaries of the law to help terminally ill patients end their lives so they can go out on their own terms.”

Le Conseil des Canadiens avec déficiences(CCD) a été fondé en 1976 comme organisation de et pour personnes handicapées. Connu à l’époque comme la Coalition des organisations provinciales, Ombudsman des handicapés (COPOH, il devint le Conseil des Canadiens avec déficiences en 1994 lorsque sa structure d’affiliation fut modifiée pour inclure des organisations nationales de personnes en situation de handicap.
CCD Voice of Our Own - Special Edition
The Council of Canadians with Disabilities (CCD) was founded in 1976 as an organization of people with disabilities working for people with disabilities. CCD was first known as the Coalition of Provincial Organizations of the Handicapped (COPOH), but, in 1994, when its membership structure changed to include national organizations of people with disabilities, a new name was adopted - the Council of Canadians with Disabilities.
